Our Last Night
Our Last Night
By standard definition the word "evolution" means a process of change in a certain direction. In life, people, cities, nature, art and music among other things go through their own evolutionary cycles, constantly moving forward and continually changing. New Hampshire based melodic-metal outfit Our Last Night has experienced their own such growth over the past several years. Through experience, methodically honing their craft and long arduous touring, Our Last Night has emerged matured and seasoned with their self-defining sophomore album 'We Will All Evolve.'

To understand their development you have to go back a few years. Our Last Night was conceived outside the conventional scene in the sleepy town of Hollis, New Hampshire on the outskirts of Boston in 2004. After a recording an EP later that year, the band cemented its current lineup in 2006 with brothers Matt Wentworth (guitar/vocals) and a then sixteen year old prodigious growler Trevor Wentworth (vocals), Colin Perry (guitar), Alex "Woody" Woodrow (bass) and Tim Molloy (drums). Individuality and shear skill led Epitaph Records owner and president Brett Gurewitz to sign the band in 2007 and release their debut full-length album, 'The Ghost Among Us,' in 2008.

Since 2008, Our Last Night has built a core army of fans. Not through flashy persona, fame fueled online gossip or monotonous scene imagery, but through their music and touring alone. Letting the music speak for itself has helped the band transcend boundaries and created limitless room for growth.

Our Last Night entered the studio in late 2009 with producer Andrew Wade (A Day To Remember, Versa Emerge) to record 'We Will All Evolve'. After a month long recording session and additional mixing by David Bendeth (Breaking Benjamin, Paramore, Set Your Goals) the album was completed and ready for release in May 2010.

Exploding with depth and maturity, 'We Will All Evolve' blends Trevor's harsh, aged-to-perfection growls perfectly with Matt's melodious, calming vocals over his and Colin's progressive, breakneck-metal driven guitars, Woody's heavy hitting bass and Tim's pummeling drums. Ripping through thirty-seven plus minutes of meticulously written melodic mayhem with tracks like the furious first single, "Elephants," the indisputably catchy "The Air I Breath," and the bouncy pop-metal hybrid "Into the Future," Our Last Night break out of their cocoon riff by riff, chorus by chorus rising above the limits of a so called scene.

With plans to tour in support of the new album throughout 2010 including dates on the Vans Warped Tour, Our Last Night's evolution continues as the band feeds off of experience and the incessant need to create and grow.
I The Mighty
I The Mighty
Since their 2007 inception, I the Mighty has melded together effortlessly and has already built up an impressive following of fans nationwide, seeing regular rotation on local modern rock station Live 105, and sharing stages with the likes of Deftones, The Dear Hunter, letlive., and more.

I the Mighty released Karma Never Sleeps EP, their Equal Vision Records debut and sophomore EP, in March of 2012. The EP showcased a new side of the band, offering a heavier, darker sound and moodier ambience. The ambitious and captivating EP, features six sweeping tracks filled with intense vocals, catchy hooks, charging guitars and explosive instrumentations that make for a mesmerizing whirlwind of cinematic soundscapes.

While Karma Never Sleeps envelops the listener into dramatic, dreamlike imagery of tales of political corruption, desperation and despair, lyrically infused with powerful and poignant storylines woven around a theme of Karma; The new full-length album shows a more personalized, intimate look into the mind and experiences of Walsh.

Musically, their new album Satori follows the foreshadowing of the EP, with soaring choruses, intricate layerings of guitarwork and most notably - a vastly wide array of vocal dynamics ranging from Walsh's naturally sultry R&B croon to a delicately dreamy falsetto and even incorporates some of his most intense vocals to date with the incorporation of a deep, passionate scream in moments of utmost sincerity and emotional fury. The diverse deliveries of vocals are further highlighted with exceptional framing of gang vocals, impressive multi-layered harmonies and dramatic yet balanced instrumentations.

Jule Vera
Jule Vera is a young female-fronted Indie Pop Rock band from Auburn, Alabama. Influences like The Pretty Reckless, The Killers, and No Doubt help the raw, poppy melodies and emotional lyrics fit in an artsy rock groove.
The three teenagers that make up Jule Vera met in 2010 and formed a group with a few other members to play local shows, one of which was a Battle of the Bands contest judged by the grammy nominated band After Edmund. The band won the contest because of the originality of one of their songs, which put them into contact with After Edmund frontman Mitch Parks, of Taken Productions. The band went on to record an EP with Parks, which brought three specific members of the group together, forming a totally new band with a better sound and better songs. The three decided to call the new band Jule Vera, and started playing shows from their upcoming EP in April 2013. Jule Vera's debut EP will release Fall 2013.
